Stripping Paint

Its so weirdly fascinating. Complex layers that you are trying to get at just right!

Hope you enjoy this closeup with a whole bunch of us doing our best to promote it at Lisa’s Macro Monday!

Here I am messing around with the settings on my camera and getting ready to strip!

Pristine paint. One of these layers is 135 years old.

I got this far.

And started taking a few closeups.

I got this far and stopped for the day. Vertical stripping I like. Stripping horizontally presents too many challenges when I’m tired from working!

    Fascinating texture in those layers.

Wow! First who would have thought that striped paint would be so interesting but your macro photos have amazing detail. Loved your shot in your gear for striping.

Great shallow depth and details in those macros. And that is hard work!
