Wallpeople & Knit In Public 2012

This weekend I combined 2 events into one trip to Toronto! I knitted pieces in the park to post up on the wall. It was a great event in a really nice park right by Kensington Market in downtown Toronto. We also stopped in for a bite to eat at the Hot Box Cafe at the market. And can’t forget asian pastries and steam buns from Chinatown.

Wallpeople is a lovely event celebrating expressionism across the globe.

Knit in Public is also a great celebration. A bunch of people came by to watch me working nd ask questions. I made 2 little pieces, one in white and one out of my own hand dyed yarn.

Posting on the wall, as well as one FANTASTIC looking t-shirt! 😀

My 2 little knitted pieces are just to the right of the wallpeople sign at the top. They ended up being seriously camouflaged against the concrete!

I’m looking forward to next year.
